MANOVA ("multivariate analysis of variance") is similar to ANOVA, except for one important difference: in a MANOVA, you are allowed more than one dependent variable. Note: MANOVA is not simply a .html">-way-ANOVA.html"> way ANOVA or factorial ANOVA. That analysis can have more than one independent variable, but, unlike MANOVA, still only has one dependent variable.
